Naperville Resident, Chicago CEO Appointed to Alma College Board
ALMA, Mich. — Naperville resident Darryl Schimeck, president and CEO of Optimer Brands in Chicago, has been appointed to the Alma College Board of Trustees.
Prior to his current position, Schimeck was the president and CEO of Veolia ES Industrial Services. A member of the Union League Club of Chicago, Schimeck also serves on the Board of Directors and is chairman emeritus at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls.
A 1982 graduate of Alma College with a major in economics, Schimeck also is a member of the Alma College President’s Advisory Council for the Chicago area.
