I'm still here in Iraq, flying around trying to make the world a better place one day at a time. I'm sorry my email did not make it through last time, for some reason that's been a problem this deployment. I really enjoy the driFire wear. I used to use Under Armor, but your stuff is amazing. I flew for about 8 hours the other day in almost 140 degree temperatures, while wearing the driFire shirt and boxer's and I stayed surprisingly cool; for wearing 40lbs of flight gear and having almost no air circulation at all in the cabin of the helicopter. My body stayed cool and that is incredible. I want to thank you for such a great product. I've actually found that soaking my driFire shirt in icewater before I fly keeps me cool even longer. I was wondering if you've considered making other items, such as socks, or headgear; such as face masks, or beanies, I know quite a lot of my friends, who are recon marines and some are sniper's, who would love this gear. Thanks so much for your time, Oh I also wanted to ask if there's anyway I can invest in your company, like stocks or mutual funds of some type. I really think you have a great product and I really believe your business is going to sky rocket once word gets around about your gear.
Thanks for your time and for a great product.
I wanted you to know I bought 4 shirts and 4 boxers (olive) and generally love them. I'm a cobra pilot and so have to fly with fire resistant clothing, and your product is much more comfortable than cotton, especially on the long days.
Thank you so much for contacting me so quickly. I can't thank you enough for shipping them out today. My son will be really grateful.
My brother and his wife, from Fredericksburg, Va. are the ones that are ordering the big quantities of shirts for their sons unit in Iraq right now. You had the article about them on your web site.
My nephew contacted his parents today and said how awesome the shirts were with the 140 degree temps over there now. My brother even tried one this weekend in Va. when the temps hit 102. He said they really work and was pleased.
We as parents can't thank you enough for having these shirts available.
There is nothing worse then knowing that your child is suffering needlessly while fighting for our country.
I look forward to you creating socks that wisk away the moisture. I choose to wear your garments when I had to fly in Iraq. Waiting for a flight at a JCOT can take days. Your garments felt the same the second day wearing them as they did when I put them on the day before. You may not have wanted to stand next to me but I felt good. Very comfortable and truly impressed by the drying time. How soon will the socks be ready?
This was our first time wearing DRIFIRE during one of our competitions and we are extremely pleased with the performance of the gear. When I removed my turnout coat after each of our runs, my skin that was covered by driFIRE was dry and cooler. It was very noticeable because my arms were wet and hot after the competition, DRIFIRE truly works well and we will continue to use it during competition and soon I will be wearing the shirts at work. My entire team wears DRIFIRE gear during training, weight lifting, and cardio workouts in preparation for the Firefighter Combat Challenge. DRIFIRE truly has an amazing product that will help firefighters around the World fight fatigue and keep their bodies fresher during heavy work.
I wore my driFIRE shirt yesterday(7/23) under my turnout coat, scba, breathing air, 10 trips up and down training tower till my air was gone. It was 1630 hrs. 112 degrees, with monsoon humidity. It was painful, but my driFIRE shirt did awesome.
I just wanted to drop you a line after using the dry-fire shirt for several months I am just as impressed with as I was the first time I tested it out. The shirt remains comfortable, and it wicks moister as well as anything I have ever tried. It is nice when you get a product that performs as advertised and better. Dri-Fire is an excellent product I believe once more people in the fire service use this clothing it will be a standard in the service.
I choose to wear driFIRE because it keeps me cooler when times get hot. During fire training and in live fire situations, nothing is worse than the heavy feeling of wet cotton shirt under my gear. driFIRE not only was more comfortable, but also shielded heat off of me. Every fire department has a concern about heat exhaustion. This product will help. It seemed to breathe better. Fire departments should take a closer look at this product.
I want to express our satisfaction with the long sleeve silkweight t-shirts. In the last month, we have had the opportunity to test the quality and effectiveness of the shirts in many different elements such as structure fires, interrupted workouts for medical calls, and regular station wear. My personal experience has been great and I was really able to notice how great the shirts actually are once I DIDN’T wear one. After forgetting the DRIFIRE shirt at home, I was forced to wear my traditional cotton t-shirt during a structure fire last month. My shirt was soaking wet and I quickly became cold and miserable during overhaul. Every other incident where I had my DRIFIRE shirt, I never noticed any accumulation of sweat and I think that is what makes them so outstanding. On behalf of all of the firefighters in Elgin that have had the opportunity to wear the product, I would like to say thank you very much. We look forward to issuing DRIFIRE to each shift firefighter in the Elgin Fire Department.
