Performance Wear with FR Moisture Management

Too many providers of specialized garments want to believe that merely adding the word 'performance' to their label or brand makes theirs a performance wear solution. At DRIFIRE, we think you're entitled to a lot more than just the word. You're entitled to a garment option that pays strict adherence to a set of very specific, very important garment qualities. In fact, we think that an objective, apples to apples definition of performance wear is long overdue in the industry. But we know why many others are not anxious to go there.

Moisture Management and Comfort
By our definition, if a garment keeps you dry and cool but you can't wait to strip it off, it is not performance wear. If a garment is very comfortable when you’re inert but pools and traps moisture when you become active, it is not performance wear.

True performance wear hunts down and disperses moisture like the enemy it is to anyone who must go harder, longer, further, faster with peak periods of exertion and intervals of cool down, in all kinds of weather, hot or cold, or hot to cold and back again. Period. It's got to wick, it's got to transfer the moisture quickly over the biggest possible expanse of garment fabric, and it’s got to dry, fast, always and over and over again.

True performance wear is also the most comfortable thing next to your own skin. It moves when you do, the way you do. It doesn't bunch. It doesn’t rub you the wrong way with bulky seams in all the wrong places. It stretches in directions modeled after the way humans move, not mannequins. By our definition, performance wear should be so comfortable, in fact, that you'll want to wear it even during times of inactivity… because it is that comfortable. That’s the DRIFIRE Performance Standard. That's what our garments achieve.
